A-England – Order of the Garter
Récemment j’ai été contacté par Adina Bodana (créatrice de la marque A-england) pour tester 3 teintes parmi ses collections. Un énorme merci à elle pour sa confiance et sa gentillesse ! Le choix fut très très difficile car ses teintes sont plus belles les unes que les autres, j’ai finalement porté mon dévolu sur Order of the Garter, Princess Tears et Avalon :

Aujourd’hui je vous parle d’Order of the Garter qui est le « bijou du mois » chez A-England ! Il s’agit d’un vernis bleu roi rempli de fines particules bleues plus claires qui lui donne une belle touche de lumière. Le rendu est royal ! Je suis juste amoureuse de ce vernis !
J’ai tenté de rendre au mieux la teinte du vernis qui s’avère être plus foncée que sur la plupart des swatches que j’ai pu trouver sur le net. La teinte est vraiment telle que sur mes 2 premières photos. Mais ce petit bijou est assez récalcitrant à l’objectif !
Today I tell you about Order of the Garter wich is the “gem of the month” at A-England! It is a royal blue full of clearer blue fine particles that gives a beautiful touch of light. The finish is royal! I felt in love with this polish !
I try to take the best photos I could. The tint is darker than the most swatches on net show. The tint is really like my 2 first photos. But this jewel is a little bit contrary in the lens !
Comme pour le Dragon (swatches ICI) l’application fut un régal. Il se lisse tout seul, est très docile et parfaitement opaque. De plus il sèche rapidement. Je ne lui trouve aucun point negative !

As the Dragon (swatches HERE) the application was really easy. It smoothes by itself, is very docile and is well opaque. Furthermore, it dries quickly. I don’t find any negative points!

Stamping rate sur le Knackered ou le papillon de l’horreur !

J’ai voulu agrémenté mon joli Butter London (swatches ICI) d’un stamping discret…oui mais c’était sans compter sur la mauvaise volonté de mon matériel…mon vernis pour le stamping était trop pâteux, le tampon ne prenait pas tout le dessin. De plus j’ai voulu tester la technique du « retournage miroitage double tamponage » pour inverser le sens de mon papillon et celui-ci s’est finalement écrabouillé sur mon ongle en arrachant, au passage, ses jolis ailes…C’est mon papillon de l’horreur !

I wanted to add a discret stamping on my beautiful Butter London (swatches HERE)…yes but my material shows a certain lack of goodwill…my white stamping polish was too thick, the buffer did not take the whole draw. Furthermore, I wanted to try the double stamping technic to opposite the direction of my butterfly and this one finally crashed on my nails tearing away its wings…this is my horrific butterfly!

Mon premier Butter London, j’ai nommé Knackered ! J’ai hésité loooongtemps avant de choisir, il y a tellement de merveilles chez Butter London ! Je pense que ce ne sera pas mon dernier ^^
Bon bein déjà, le flacon. Une merveille de design « verniesque » ! Une forme qui sort de l’ordinaire, quelques petits « détails qui tuent », un typo classissime ! Voici une marque qui sait déjà sortir des sentiers battus et qui donnent envie de la connaître un peu plus ^^
My first Butter London, I called Knackered! I hesitated a looong time to choose, there is so many marvels at Butter London! I think that it won’t be le last one ^^
Ok first, the bottle. A marvelous design! A shape that is out of the ordinary, the details that kill, a title very smart! A brand that does not continue on the same path and that encourages to become more familiar with it ^^
Knackered est assez difficile à décrire…Knackered est un vernis plein d’effet à la fois discret et plein de charme ! Knackered c’est un vernis multichrome dansant entre le gris, le rose et le vert avec la lumière. Mais Knackered c’est aussi une pluie de fines paillettes holographiques qui brillent de 1000 feux au soleil. De toute petites paillettes tout juste saupoudrées dans la matière, suffisamment présentes pour apporter un éclat magique au vernis mais suffisamment discrète pour ne pas gâcher les reflets multichromes du vernis. Bref, Knackered c’est encore une fois un peu de magie en flacon.
Knackered is a little bit difficult to describe…Knackered is a polish with a great effect, both discreet and full of charm! Knackered is a multichrome polish wich danse between grey, pink and green reflections according to the light. But Knackered it is also a very fine holographique glitters rain which is aglow with a thousand lights is sunshine. Very very fine glitters that are just sprinkle in the polish, enough present to give a magic shine to the polish but also rather discreet to not spoil the multichrome reflections of the nail polish. In short, Knackered is again a bit of magic in bottle.

Bon et la qualité alors ? J’ai du mal à me faire un avis à partir d’un seul vernis mais je dois avouer que ce petit Knackered donne bien envie d’adopter ses camarades ^^ L’application a été un vrai régal. Le vernis est bien fluide, on peut prendre le temps de parfaire sa pose de star, le vernis se lisse de lui-même…bref il est très docile et ça on aime ! Par contre j’ai dû appliquer 3 couches pour obtenir un résultat totalement opaque mais cela ne pose aucun souci vu le temps de séchage assez express du bijou !

Well, and quality? I have some difficulties to make my opinion with a single nail polish but I must say that this little Knackere makes me want to adopt its friends ^^ Application is so easy, the polish is well fluid and we can take time to well apply it, it smoothes by itself on nails…In short, it is docile and we love it! On the other hand, I had to apply 3 coats to obtain an opaque result but this is not a real problem according to the very quick drying time!
You have understand it, I felt in love!
