Jelly sandwich
La manucure Jelly sandwich ? Mais qu’est ce que Tenshi nous a encore inventé ?! Et bien en réalité rien du tout puisque j’ai piqué l’idée sur les blogs américains ! La manucure Jelly sandwich consiste en l’application d’une couche de vernis à paillettes entre deux couches de vernis à texture jelly (petit rappel des différentes textures ICI !). Les paillettes sont comme suspendues dans le vernis et donne à la manucure un effet 3D vraiment sympa !
Ici j’ai appliqué une première couche de Shell We dance de Sally Hansen (la marque est récemment disponible chez Sephora au prix de 10,50 le flacon), puis une couche de Servin’ up Sparkle d’OPI, puis une seconde couche de Shell we Dance. J’ai terminé par une couche de Matte About You d’Essie pour matifier le tout.
J’aime beaucoup le rendu à la fois doux et pétillant !
Jelly sandwich manicure? But what Tenshi is talking about?! In reality, I took the idea from american bloggers! Jelly manicure consists in applying a glittery polish coat between two coat of a jelly polish (little reminder of the different kind of polish textures HERE!). Glitters seem to be suspended into polish and it gives a very sympathic 3D effect to the manicure!
Here I applied a first coat of Sally Hansen Shell we Dance polish (the brand is now available at Sephora for 10,50 euros), then I applied a coat of Servin’ up Sparkle by OPI, then a second coat of Shell we Dance. I finished by a coat of Matte About You by Essie to matify the manicure.
I like very much the effect all the same time soft and sparkling!
Essie – As Gold as it Gets
Je vous le promettais, le voici : appliqué en intégral sur un le OPI I’m Fondue of you présenté plus tôt (ICI). Un grand merci à ma belle Amely pour ce superbe cadeau ! La coquine savait que je le voulais et par un beau matin j’ai eu la surprise de le découvrir dans ma boîte aux lettres avec un adorable mot ! En plus d’être douée en nail art ET en couture (elle créé des sacs à main magnifiques) cette fille est un ange !
As Gold as it Gets fait partie de la collection Luxeffects d’Essie, cette fameuse collection de top coat à effet (dont le Shine of the Times joli dupe du très prisé Nfu Oh 38 a fait grand bruit). Il est donc composé d’une base jelly transparente et rempli de petits flakies dorés. En intégral ou en touche pour le nail art, cette merveille est vraiment un must-have à posséder !

The miss knew that I wanted it and by a beautiful morning I had the surprise to find it in my letter box with an adorable message! She is also very endowed in nail art AND in sewing (she makes marvelous hand bags) this girl is an angel!
As Gold as it Gets takes part in Luxeffects collection by Essie, this famous collection of effect top coat (of whom the Shine of the Time, dupe of the famous Nfu Oh 38). It is composed by a jelly transparent base full of little golden flakies. In integral or in touch for nail art, this beauty is a must-have to possess!

OPI – I’m Fondue of You
Vous me connaissez, je suis en perpétuelle quête de nouveautés en matière de vernis, mais parfois j’ai envie de porter un ancien vernis, un qui m’a particulièrement plu ou tout simplement un vernis qui me vient en tête à un moment précis. Ce jour-là, j’avais envie d’ongles chocolaté, et le plus beau vernis chocolat selon moi est celui-ci : I’m Fondue of You d’OPI. Rien que le nom appelle à la gourmandise…vous ne trouvez pas ?! Je vous (re)présente donc une nouvelle fois ce vernis, avec mes nouveaux ongles courts et mon nouvel appareil photo (anciennes photos ICI).
Il s’agit donc d’un vernis couleur chocolat, très légèrement irisé de reflets cuivrés-rouges. C’est ce qui donne toute son intensité et toute sa particularité à ce vernis, je trouve. De plus le laqué est impressionnant, on a vraiment l’impression d’avoir plongé ses ongles dans du chocolat fondu !
You know me, I am in a perpetual journey for novelty in nail polishes, but sometimes I want to wear and ancient nail polish, a nail polish that I particularly liked or simply a polish that I have in mind in that moment. This day, I wanted chocolate nails, and the most beautiful chocolate nail polish to me is: I’m Fondue of You by OPI. Even the name is calling to the greed… I (re)present you one more time this polish, with my new shorter nails and my new photos (ancient photos HERE).
It is a chocolate nail polish, very lightly frosted with copper-red reflections. It gives all the intensity and particularity to this polish, I find. Furthermore the shinning is impressive, we really have the impression to have plunged the fingers into molten chocolate!
